Healthy acai milkshake smoothie for breakfast
There is nothing better than a delicious acai and banana smoothie accompanied by freshly made pancakes, yoghurt, sliced banana, honey and granola for breakfast. A healthy breakfast filled with antioxidants to kick-start your day!
The recipe is very simple and will yield two tall smoothie glasses.
Acai pulp can be found in whole-food stores or health/organic shops.
- 100ml acai pulp
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 sliced banana
- 200g of natural yogurt
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until you have a nice creamy smoothie.
- You can add extra bananas for a richer creamier smoothie.
- I like my smoothies to be creamy and cold so I always place my natural yogurt in the freezer before blending my fruits in, 1 - 2 hours before hand.
